The Tiramisu and the Sticky Date Pudding is a sweet tooth's heaven! Nice place, with good service (albeit a bit slow at times) and a scrumptious menu. Thumbs up!

Wakin Chau

Wakin Chau is no stranger to Malaysians as seen from his previous sold-out concerts. This Taiwanese singer-cum-actor is coming back to thrill fans again with another serving of heart-warming ballads at his Diva Alive Tour. Formerly known as Emil Chau in the 1980s and 90s, he reverted to his given name of Wakin in 2000 as his way of embracing a new beginning. This decision led him to discover the joy and beauty of singing R&B music, allowing him to express the emotions and feelings he had always wanted to project to his fans through his songs.

The Diva Alive Concert is a re-interpretation of songs originally written for divas like Faye Wong, Wan Fang and the late Taiwanese songbird, Teresa Teng. It will also include all his past hits like "Friends" and "Flower Heart" along with some fresh songs such as "Diva" and his rendition of the decidedly feminine song "Wandering Songstress".

Guess what, Wakin Chau will be staging a concert on 18th and 19th January 2013 in Arena of stars, Genting Highlands.

Go Genting Golden Package

When it come to public transport to Genting I seriously only trust the official Genting Express Bus. I've personally tried bus from other company, and I had one heck of a ride down hill, it is more adrenaline than having a roller coaster ride in the theme park, and not to mention, it is very dangerous where the bus speed at every sharp corner, and not stepping on the break even when there's bump. Worse of all, despite fully seated already, they still stuff passenger in, making and packing it like sardine.

So why not enjoy a comfy ride with peace state in mind with Go Genting Bus that is easily available at various location like 1 Utama, KL Sentral and others. It cost you only RM10+- depending on departure location.

There is also a golden package where for just RM58 nett per person, where it in inclusive of return bus transfer and cable car, along with either theme park entrance or buffet lunch at coffee terrace, yes coffee terrace!

Now that's really a deal not to miss. For further info visit http://www.gogenting.com.my/en/express/index.htm

Going Genting

As much as I love going to Genting, there will be time where there's a hell lot of jam and having to drive manual car, it is really challenging to stop at a slope. Predictable jam time like festival eve, and festival is avoidable but there are also jam where happen when there's accident or broke down. That's why I always prefer going there by bus and cable car.

For as low as RM9.40 you could enjoy a comfortable ride from a station and a great hill view in cable car from bus terminal at Genting. There's so many reason why you should totally get this but one of the main reason I use this service is because it is dirt cheap and I don't need to maintain my car that soon cause by the dragging and 'drifting' up and down hill.

Also there are tons of departure time and that you wouldn't have to wait long before the next bus depart. With just RM10+-, I would say it is worth every cent spent. With that, it is time to plan to go Genting :D

*Note: Price differ from departure station

Paranormal Activity 4

Premiere screening is always my cure to Monday blue but that doesn't mean higher score would be given to that particular movie. Thank Nuffnang and ChurpChurp for the exclusive screening of Paranormal Activity 4 at GSC Mid Valley momentary ago.

Personally, I think Paranormal Activity 4 lost its charm ever since the previous installation simply because there's nothing new and fresh to it. Even the plot has nothing much to offer with no real excitement element nor interesting twist to it.

The only suspension it had where it make the audience curious on what's gonna happen next or how the demon look like which already quite predictable for those who's watched one or all of its trilogy. It is no stranger to me that everything is quite predictable with first half of it at slow pace and soon catch but. Unfortunately the pace doesn't reach even "ok this is interesting" point.

With the pattern aside, the plot doesn't go in depth and is open to the audience to inteprete their own "why". Despite using different tools and technology, the outcome remains the same, having all the paranormal activity recorded. What's sad is that what is suppose to be spooky and interesting seen in trailer is no where seen in the movie.

Veet It Off

It is no longer a privilege that only women get to enjoy Veet product, because men too have issue with their public hair. I for one am one of the minor (or many) that dislike public hair whether it is on chest, armpit or other wanted spot. Come to think of it all the some of the superhero have hair-free body. Don't believe me?

Maybe I'm a tradition Asian, and no offence to others but I think too much hair is eerie, and that is just my personal opinion, I just don't prefer it. That's why Veet come in handy it could aid in removing the wanted hair by first removing the pain. The product is so good that I wish I could even use it shave my beard off as the result is quite long lasting before the next batch grows again.

In support of Nuffnang and Veet collaboration, I dedicate this blog post to revamp an outside of my choice, and since nobody would want to see how sexy a guy is, I would have to force beg a model on mine to wear the mastermind I had. Here's my choice of outfit

A dress, a slim belt, and a shirt. By simple mix and match you could have the typical look as follow

And here's how these outfit could be revamp into

You can wear the shirt on top of the dress as jacket when you're cold

With a belt on it, you can simply make a slight different outfit

Tying a knot on the shirt for a more casual outfit

While still having the belt intact, fold the shirt inside to make collar t-shirt and skirt outfit.

And by wearing the shirt lower, you can turn it into a skirt too.

If you're keen on Veeting it off do check out these video

So make sure you tune in to catch those special days!

Speaking of Pimp My Ride, it would be great if I could get my old, rusty car pimp for that new and energizing look.

Before going into my dream pimp, maybe we should take a look at what my ride is now. Let's take a look at the outer look of my ride shall we.

Trust me, it is not as white / clean as illustrated, there's black stain all over and stubborn dust that could not be wash away. From far it seem like a ride in good condition right? Now let's drill in.

This is how my side mirror look like, it was not the original side mirror panel and the tiny fine adjustment stick is very loose, I have to stuck a paper into it just to make sure it stick at the position I want it to be.

Now take a look at the petrol cap, for some reason it decided to annoy me with the eerie sound whenever I pump petrol, and that was cause by the friction between the cap and the panel. Also notice the stubborn black spot?

The central lock too decided to go against me especially when it is raining. When I unlock the car and hope in during heavy rain, my friend would be left outside taking drip of rain because the lock would usually stuck half way and that make the back door unable to open.

Rusted and melted rubber is best way to describe my wipers. I know it is as easy as changing a new one, but none of those that I've ever change last, and max 1 month it will be back to the same thing again.

More stubborn dark spot

And of course there's also common issue with this model / brand where the aircond panel is broken easily. All 4 of them is likely to have the same fate.

A sun shield panel without mirror is a BIG turn down to my date cause they usually would need to do some make up / touch up in the car.

The back panel compartment sadly doesn't really hold anything. Whenever I open the car boot, everything placed on the back panel would drop inside the boot area. That's explain why I would be so stupid to store an umbrella in the boot.

Some other minor crack here and there all around the car.

Thank God for the 'creative' and 'awesome' design, this model of car is made to trap leaves and anything that drop into it. Not only I have to clean it everyday, but I need to clean it like every few hour, and that happen only when I'm that free which had not happen once until now.

After rain, whenever I open the car boot, there will be water dripping inside and that had caused me an expensive pain before.

While it all seems quite typical, this following issue should make my car 'stand out'. Beside ferrying human, the car has some other 'resident' too. There's like an insect zoo in it too, this is a BIG NO NO because they often frighten not only my guest, but also me as the driver -.-" There's ant, cockroach, lizard, spider, and dead insect that would be blow out from the aircond whenever it is switch on.

Just wondering, anyone miss old school cassette?

Lastly let's have a look at the interior

As for what I would like to have in my car, I really have no idea since I'm not a car person, and I'm really dry on how I could make my car look and feel better. Probably the basic stuff would be the powerful tint on the screen, then awesome bombastic audio system, power steering, better rim and tyres, leather seat, fully better power window, and maybe some clean up on the engine? But personally, I am a transformer fan, and anything that can morph from one form to another will be cool for me, it can be something simple like a LCD panel that can be kept in secret storage compartment with just one button command, you get the idea right?

I will not try to be fancy in why I should be chosen but basically I drive alot and I meet client everyday. With a all new pimped ride, it would definite boost my confident with a new make over ride as now I would park far away from client meeting point and walk over. It would also bring a big surprise where I can have my date sitting inside a comfortable and fierce ride, with all the make up friendly tools.
