Shaolin

Special thank to Nuffnang and Glitterati Plus for the special and exclusive screening of Shaolin at TGV Sunway Pyramid for us.
Sorry if I'm wrong but I think this title is a remade version from the old time Shaolin. This time however we have bigger cast, badder badass, and deeper sense of humanity. It was however quite a waste that Jackie couldn't be a big part of the fight scene.
While I've read reviews and opinion from others through the Internet before I decide if I should rush like a mad person for the screening, it seems that there is a mixture of haters and lovers toward the movie, and so I give it a try
To me, I personally love every part of the movie, from feelings to team work to fight scene to scarifies. While others might felt asleep when it is story telling time, I was wide awake, probably because I'm able to get into character.

The Green Hornet

Ah.. The Green Hornet is your typical classic superhero movie but bare in mind it is not those with super power, just some dude with extraordinary skill and knowledge. In the 2011 edition, we have mega star from east to west like Seth Rogen, Jay Chou, Cameron Diaz
Since The Green Hornet is a remake, how good is it as compare to the previous title? Well to me I personally think the plus point to this movie is because of the cast especially to Jay Chou's fans. Also not to forget the technology we had today was plugged into this 'old' title
Beside those mentioned above, I felt that the 'technology' in the movie was rather convention. Let's see what they can do with their Black Beauty. It can shoot missile, fully armed with machine gun, saw wheel, and etc.. Aren't these just too familiar to you?
But thinking back is been a while since we have a good classic action movie where we could laugh to its joke and still to its action.

On a side note: Since I'm not a Jay fan and I don't follow his update at all, is Jay getting plump or was it the fault of director that make him look so in the movie?

Faster

It was a really really tiring and superb aching on the night I catch Faster in Golden Screen Cinema's Gold Class for the movie Faster. Was that exhausted because been to Maxis Om Nom Nom Race organized by Nuffnang since morning till dawn, but still it was fun with all the run, chase, chew, and sweat. Well in the end our effort pay off :)
Okay back to the movie, Faster starring "The Rock" if you're still not aware of that was quite a slow pace movie I must say. Why do I say? Because the main character also named as Driver drives an old car which seems to have problem going up to 100kmps. Not only that, since Driver is a "heartful" person he tend to hesitate alot during his move kill.
Besides that, the assassin that go all around hunting Driver down, is that even necessary? If only they could drop this down and put in more effort in stunt, action, or even twist, it would be much enjoyable.
So basically Faster is most about a vengeful soul who came back from death and to take the life of those who kill his brother without a blink on the eye.

Maxis Om Nom Nom Race - Dancing Fish

With the aid of Finder301 again we manage to find the last mysterious place without sweating much (okay, minus the sweat from running)
Seriously I am finding it easy to navigate around town without even having the need to install an external application. Trust me you will never get lost with it.

The best part of this place is because of the soothing ambiance and relaxing environment. You will feel like dining at home with all the not only nicely decorated dish but also yummilicious meal to fulfill your crave for best food in town. Dancing Fish is an Malay-Indon restaurant.

Introducing the appetizer - Emping with Sambal Terasi where it is a nutty slightly bitter taste that is perfectly balanced by famous terasi.

Dancing Fish is named after a signature dish here where you can actually eat up the fish bone. This is Dancing Fish with Kerabu Mango fried fresh from the tank serve with kerabu mango, so nice till the bone can be eaten, for real o.0

Next Tahu Telur.. Yum.. A tower of Tahu and flossy egg mixture.

Dancing Fish server free flow of Barley / Lime too )

We were greeted with mini fountain, makes me feel like jumping into the pool after all the chase we had since morning. Anyway to cut story short here are some drooling photo to help open up your appetite.

Crispy and delicious…butter prawns with the right recipe prepared by Thai Base chefs.

Maxis Om Nom Nom Race - Sate Kajang HJ. Samuri

Finally found our third stop - Sate Kajang HJ. Samuri @ Damansara Utama / Uptown. This is an place where you don't just get to taste famous Kajang Sate but also get to enjoy and feel authentic village ambiance.

No doubt, as a Malaysian, once in a while we would crave for Sate (or Satay in BM), and I do mean lots of it, but who would travel all the way down to Kajang just for sate? That's why HJ. Samuri should be your first choice.

HJ. Samuri is not only hygienic but also spacious with standard pricing.

They serve 4 type of Sate here - Chicken, Lamb, Rabbit, Deer meat. One would be having tough time choosing from such variety. A truly spoil of choice heaven for Sate lover.

You should not miss the peanut sauce with sambal, a truly unique experience that explode in your mouth.
