How could one dine in Mexicana cuisine without a Nachos right, and so we did. It was served with fresh ingredient covered with layer of cheese, the nachos wasn't soggy and neither was it oily like what I had from other higher end western restaurant. Frankly speaking, this is the one dish I loved so much that I found myself munching it till the very last dish that day. So do make sure you order this when you visit La Mexicana.

Queso Fundido Con Chorizo

Next on the menu was Queso Fundido Con Chorizo which is a served with a minced meat in a bowl of awesomely melted cheese, and tortillas to go along with. For you gym addict out there, stop the calories calculation and start rewarding yourself, after all, once you make your way here you've decided to indulge in a table of great food.

Tacos Carmela

Tacos Campechanos

Next shouldn't miss food item when dining in cuisine ala Mexico has to be the Tacos. We order 2 variety of tacos and there were Tacos Carmela and Campechanos. Carmela had the filling of prawn and fish paste with some spicy kick to it, while Campechanos is served with pork Chicharron (crackling) and Molcajete sauce. Although both were equally good, I personally prefer Tacos Campechanos.

Sopes de Pollos

Next serving was Sopes de Pollos, the tart size looking Sopes de Pollos is topped with shredded chicken, lettuce, acidified cream and crumbled homemade cheese. What can I say, it is a delightful savory to my taste bud. The fresh crunch from lettuce did freshen up the night with a mild blend of mix flavor going around my tongue.

Burritos de Chilorio

The Burritos de Chilorio is a mixture of ingredient along with shredded pork wrapped in burritos skin and fried until golden brown for that crispiness in every bite. Was glad that the pork is tender and juicy and Burritos de Chilorio is served on top of fresh mixed vegetable salad. It is perfection as its best if I may add. Although the portion may seem small to you, and I swear it did the same to me too. I was so full having only these as they are really packed with not just satisfaction and flavours but also the amount of ingredient use were generous.
