Pitch Perfect

Another great night meeting the great crew behind @Churp2 during the premiere screening of Pitch Perfect at GSC Mid Valley on Wednesday night.
Beca, a freshman at Barden University, is cajoled into joining The Bellas, her school's all-girls singing group. Injecting some much needed energy into their repertoire, The Bellas take on their male rivals in a campus competition. (sourceL IMDB)
One of the reason I choose Pitch Perfect over Cold War is simply because of Rebel Wilson. To my surprise, beside her, there were more surprise character introduces in the middle of the show which actually played an important role in spicing up the movie which in my opinion wasn't up to expectation.
This is definitely a movie you would probably enjoy if you're in music. They do cover from few popular song in the show and not all were great IMHO. If you somehow think this is Glee like, then you're not quite right either cause they focuses more on the plot instead. The general storyline is very likely to be familiar to you already.
There were plenty of room for improvement and it is sad to say this but Pitch Perfect has nothing unique that differ itself from other similar title. It is however an enjoyable and moderate pace movie to watch during the weekend.
