Igniting The Olive’s kitchen once again for MIGF this year is Chef de Cuisine, Daniel Sheen. Australian born, Chef Daniel Sheen exemplifies passion for food and cooking. Raised in an environment rich in Italian heritage the newly appointed Chef de Cuisine of The Olive, in his own words encapsulates what fine food is about, 'we source the best premium products from Australia, France and Italy and apply superior cooking methods to ensure ingredients retain their flavour & integrity'.
No stranger to the fine food scene, Chef Daniel completed his training at 'La Baguette', Australia's most decorated French restaurant, before opening multi-award winning restaurant, 'David's off Oxford'. Using his vast knowledge of Australian beef and gourmet European ingredients, diners can expect to see Chef Daniel tweaking The Olive's already outstanding cuisine to something of a new dimension.

This being my first time cooking in Malaysia, I was very happy to see an organization like MIGF developing & promoting fine food. They have encapsulated the essence of the Malaysian dining scene and put it on show for the world to see. And I am proud to be a part of it."
