Samsung Galaxy S Launch

Would like to thank Maxis for the very exclusive invite to the Samsung Galaxy S Launch event that happen yesterday, 25/6/2010 at Rootz Rooftop Lot 10..

This way sir

You will have to get pass the "gate of reflection" before reaching to the main area where it is filled with tons of pretty and gorgeous showgirls Samsung Galaxy S phone
Darn I was late, so I missed out the opening ceremony but the presenter did quite an impressive job when he introduce the phone to everything there.. But wait is these scene familiar to you?? Hmm.. Google it can you might get what I mean :D

Anyway still a good live presentation.. He highlighted one of the best feature that is the SWYPE technology
With swype texting, user no longer need to lift his/her finger off the screen while 'typing' on the virtual keyboard..
The Samsung Galaxy S also comes with most (if not all) of the common / wanted apps with it.. It would definitely save some precious time looking for it..
Ok MC said it is time for some performance, give a round of big applause.. here comes..
After the "cat walk" with Galaxy S, it time for some short dance performance..
It ended with a group photo
Before the session end, there's a QnA that open to the floor and here's where you will get answer to your doubts..

There were 2 Galaxy S up for grabs that particular night.. Too bad I didn't manage to throw my namecard in to try my luck.. Next time perhaps.. Now time to mingle and try out
If you think AMOLED is sexy, what would you think about Super AMOLED display then?? Should probably gets your hands on it..
Wonder what happen to the word "Google Map" the P has been cropped

The UI is pretty the familiar Android UI you seen everywhere.. What about the menu??
Now that's something different, but wait isn't this familiar too? :p
Hmm.. Am I in the right section? Yeap I am.. This Library is one of the features that come with the phone, there were few others like Layar and etc.

Overall the Samsung Galaxy S is something interesting that one should be looking into.. Whether or not it is nice/up-to-par with other phone of its category, some test out and comparison need to be made..

Here's the specification of the phone taken from its official website
