The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey

It was 12 December 2012 (also known as 12.12.12) yesterday and it was a meaningful day for many I believe. TGV too had their soft launch on their re-opening in 1Utama and had held the screening of The Hobbit for fans and winners. I however wasn't lucky enough to join the launch, but still manage to catch the movie at GSC 1Utama
Bilbo Baggins, the Hobbit that happen to stumble upon Gandalf has been assigned and recruited to join vigorous group of Dwarves on a journey to the lonely moutain to reclaim a treasure stolen from them by the dragon Smaug.
The Hobbit is a prequel to one of Peter Jackson's highly anticipated Lord Of The Ring trilogy. Through out the movie, most of the scene focuses on the journey and the several obstacle they encountered before reaching to their destination.
If you're a IMDB follower, you will notice that there will be 2 more sequel to The Hobbit series with one releasing each subsequent year, get the drill? Back here, personally I think Peter Jackson has done it again, hyping both LOTR and non LOTR audience on this prequel with humor to serious slaying scene. However the CGI weren't that great if you ask me. It is quite good actually, is just that it didn't blend quite well to the scenery, or at least that's what I thought.
The Hobbit is available in all Cinema from today onward and you should book and plan ahead to avoid disappointment.
