Do you love Japanese food but am tired with the same-old-same-old dish or do you goto Japanese restaurant just to please your other half? Good news is with Yuu-Jo Japanese Restaurant, it doesn't matter which category you falls under, cause they are serving some pretty good Japanese Fusion with affordable price range right in the heart of a luxury area - Mont Kiara.
Situated right before Kiara Designer Suites, this place and its surrounding is pretty slow pace event during Saturdays after office hour rush, a perfect escape venue for people like me and definitely a soothing place for couple to spend quality time together over awesome Japanese food with a twist.

Gyu Tataki - RM20.80 (Full portion) / RM12.80 (Half portion) |
The Guy Tataki is made of consistent yet thinly sliced marinated beef serves along with Enoki and Shimeji mushroom, shredded cucumber and carrot. It was said that it bring great aroma.

Salmon Carpaccio - RM14.80 |
|
Seafood Tempura - RM11.80 |
Generous slice of salmon that is topped with radish and lady's finger serves along with special sauce that give that extra flavor. Generally fresh and juicy.
You can never go wrong with Seafood Tempura especially when it is serves while it is still hot, serves along with sauce and Ooba Leaf which is crisply crunchy, and is good to go along with the fresh prawn tempura.

Tori Nanban - RM7.80 |
Deep fried tender chicken serves with soy sauce, salad and tartar sauce, I personally love this dish. It might be slight over the salty side for some, it was perfectly fine for me, perhaps maybe because I love stronger flavor profile in my food. Chicken thigh is used instead of breast meat to give that extra tenderness and juiciness in every bite. Definitely one plate will not be enough for me.

Salmon Plate - RM20.80 |
Fresh cut of salmon pan-seared with thick sauce, topped with fried garlic and serves along with broccoli cut, slice carrot and fried Udon. Honestly the fried Udon was simple superb, with crispy outside and spongy inside, and best part of all it isn't greasy at all. Be warn the fried Udon can be addictive. The salmon was fresh and well cooked.

Neba Neba Cold Udon - RM16.80 |
I would call this the slimy dish as it include all the 'slimy' ingredient you could ever thing off like lady's finger, nato and every other thing. Wasn't my preference dish at all but the Neba Neba Cold Udon is a dish where either you love it or you hate it.

Niku Curry Rice |
Never would I though I enjoy Japanese curry this much and the Niku Curry Rice come in a huge plate with rice on one side and curry on another and is topped with beef and salad. The curry was amazingly fragrance and is kinda sweet which I don't usually prefer but somehow fall in love with. It was simply best combination of simplicity and satisfaction that even there's no meat on it, I would still munch the whole plate clean without a doubt.

Beef Steak Wasabi with Teriyaki Sauce - RM20.80 |
Didn't personally try this dish but was told by others of the same dining table that this is by far the best dish with its tender and soft texture that go well with wasabi marination and perfect combination with the Teriyaki sauce.

Seafood Risotto |
Look like chinese fried rice at first glace, the seafood risotto definitely a well example of fusion that mix both east and west. Was ok at the first few spoon, but as I gulp down, the strong sourness from vinegar tempt to overpower everything else. Couldn't say I hate it, but rather just my personal preference.
