LonBay is located at LG-13, exactly opposite Tesco. Their specialty here is their very own coffee from their very own farm. That explain why people would purposely drop by just for a sip of coffee.
The very first drink served was pretty premium and it is called Kopi Luwak. If you don't already know, Kopi Luwak is the world's most expensive and low-production varieties of coffee. It is made from the beans of coffee berries which have been eaten by the Asian Palm Civet. The method to prepare a good cup of Kopi Luwak requires some skills too and here's some picture during the process
After all the hard work and timely brew, it is finally time to taste the Kopi Luwak. LonBay is selling RM89.90 for 250ML and you're free to add in some sugar to sweeten it up.
Personally I'm not a coffee addict and it seems that coffee to me smell or taste the same. Thus for Kopi Luwak in LonBay I didn't add in any sugar hoping that I could have a better taste from it. The first sip it tasted like any ordinary coffee, but on the subsequent sip I would finally feel the presence of the rich coffee aroma and rich texture on every sip. I too could taste some 'sourness' in the Kopi Luwak, not sure if it is indeed part of the taste though. I think coffee lover would enjoy this much more than I do.
Next up is the LonBay Iced Drip priced at RM19.90 for 250ML. There's a huge scaled dripping equipment placed right at the front counter where you would notice drip by drip the Iced Drip coffee is being produced. Coffee will then be bottled into this bottle and stored in refrigerator for chilling purpose.
The thick toast may seem ordinary but I was surprise at how soft (compare to others) it is on the inside. I've had terrible hard rock thick toast before and this tasted exactly like your daily white bread loaf, except that it is thick in shape. You can opt for the peanut butter and butter mix or kaya. Despite its softness, it is still kinda dry to finish the entire toast all by myself. It would be great if they could come out with some sort of gravy to dip in, like maybe curry thick toast?
LonBay also serves HK Style tea which is nice to me but not to the extend of unique.
Mochaccino is one of the Ice Blended series LonBay have to offer at a rather affordable price of only RM8.90. The key ingredient of course Mocha is aromatically delightful, topped with whipped cream, it complete the sweet meal with more satisfaction. The rich and strong mocha is simply irresistible, nuff said.
Finally after so many food and drinks, here come the dessert, I had chocolate cake and cheese cake. To begin with, the Chocolate Cake is just average, the texture of the cake is quite hard and is easily break into pieces, it is however not overly sweet as I would've expect it to be. The Cheese Cake on the other hand is the best. It simply put its competitor to shame because being a coffee specialist, they produce one heck of amazing cheese cake, it is soft and creamy and the rich cheesy taste doesn't overwhelm others which sort of balance out everything in a single scoop.
LonBay do pack and sell its coffee and equipment too on its outlet and you should really pay LonBay a visit, especially if you're a self proclaim coffee lover.

The LonBay Iced Drip is quite good because it is actually cold coffee minus the ice. It is serves in its original form and you may want to add in some sweet syrup for those who appreciate coffee bitterness. There's also taste of 'burnt' smell in the coffee, and according to the owner of the shop (Mr Jeff) that is because the machine is charcoal roasted and not machine roast.
Next in the beverage menu will be this Enzyme Lemonade where the enzyme is actually made from coffee shell
There's very minor presence of coffee aroma probably because the lemonade overpower it but man, it is indeed refreshing and sourly sweet at the same time. The thick and rich texture does boost open up my appetite, so next up (after so many round of drinks) would be food!!!!
The very first dish I tried are Hawaiian Toast and Maxicano Toast. The Hawaiian Toast is made with Pineapple, Thousand Islan sauce, Chicken Ham, Mozzarella Cheese, Capsicium, and Tomato while the Maxicano Toast consist of Maxicano Sauce, Chicken Ham, Mozzarella CHeese, Capsicium, and Tomato.
They tasted almost alike to me despite having slight different in ingredient and I love the Hawaiian Toast more simply because the had the perfect combination and it was a great combination to have Mozzarella Cheese toasted and melted as filling. The bread was crunchy and soft at the same time and there's an amount full of ingredient.
Chicken Burger is next on the list serves on a UFO like bowl. The chicken patty is made of fried chicken and with the combination of what a good burger should have like lettuce and sauces.
LonBay did not serves dry breast meat as the patty because that is the crucial part that determine not just the taste but also the enjoyment while consuming one. The meat was juicy and tender I must add and the bun is crispy on the outside, soft and tasty by itself on the inside. With everything so perfect inside out, how could you not try?
The seafood pasta comes in rather small portion. There's also chicken pasta where the minced chicken meat is topped to the spaghetti. I however find that the prawns weren't that fresh, and overall the pasta tasted just okay to me. That's no WOW factor in this dish but it wasn't that bad either. LonBay however serves generous amount of seafood.
Lartigo Toast which consist of Sausage, Cheese Sauce, Mozzarella Cheese, and Capsium is however just average. I don't really taste the presence of the sausage as it is overwhelm by the fresh vegetables and the heavy tasting sauces.
Vahaha Smoothies offer a range of flavor to choose from, Fruits Milkshake, Mango, Soursop, Honey Peach, Strawberry, and Blueberry. The one I manage to try on is the Soursop (1st photo) and Honey Peach. The blended ice is very fine and have a smooth and easy to swallow texture. The taste wise however is kinda sweet for both flavor I tried. They also tend to have identical taste despite different flavor, which I think is cause by the heavy taste from the base.
